Tuberculosis (TB) Testing
This simple skin test will determine if you have been exposed to TB. The test is recommended for those who work in confined areas, i.e. nursing homes, prisons, homeless shelters, and third world countries.
The process is a two day event. Skin testing is done on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday; and the results are read on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. (A minimum of 48 hours after the stick to a maximum of 72 hours)
Testing can be performed at the Academy, or we can come to you provided more than 10 people are being tested. The fee is $20.00 per person in cash, check, or money order.
Before testing can occur, each participant is required to print out the questionnaire and consent form, fill it out, and bring it with them and one form of picture ID.

You will also learn how to use an airway, ambu bag, and the automatic external defibrillator (AED).

Fingerprinting
Fingerprinting is performed at the Academy for a fee of $10.00. Please call the Academy to schedule drop-in appointment. Please bring the fingerprint forms that were given to you, along with picture identification. The process takes about 15 minutes. Please make sure you have no health issues with your fingers, hands, or wrists. Health issues may compromise the quality of the print.
Depending on the type for fingerprint forms you are given, you may or may not receive a credit-card sized fingerprint verification form.
