During a 40+ year nursing career she worked in many areas and finally ended her career following her true calling as a teacher. During the six years she taught at Seven Health Care Academy in Mesa, Arizona she guided her students towards an understanding of the basics of care giving and an appreciation for the importance of true compassion. As Bev fought her nine year battle with breast cancer, her positive attitude was an inspiration to family, friends, and care givers. Family members are having a private celebration of Bev's life at the end of June.
